ROOT: It's just a matter of time

(Continued)

Lockport Union-Sun & Journal — Ah, another life lesson from the guy who gets angry when the summer humidity softens the outer shell of his Oreo cookies. Sometimes us crazy people have a lot to offer. You normal people just need to learn when to listen.

Take stock of not only the things you are doing in your life, but the way you are doing them as well. Sometimes the answer is as simple as setting your alarm clock a little earlier in the morning or cutting out some of the excess things in your life that you really do not need.

I guess I could have learned all of this a long time ago if I had just listened to what my wife was saying. I wonder what other nuggets of inspiration she has to offer? I suppose that if I paid attention, I would already know. Maybe I should make that a priority.

George N Root III is a Lockport resident and completely oblivious to the world around him. His column appears every Wednesday, or so he is told. He can be reached at georgeroot@verizon.net, but please be patient as it takes time to respond to all of his hate mail. But he does want to respond to every person that takes the time to write, so just be patient.
