SAFETY: Fire companies combine forces for Fire Prevention Week

Staff Reports
Lockport Union-Sun & Journal

Firefighters from the South Lockport Volunteer Fire Co. climbed their 101-foot ladder truck, working with Cambria volunteers firefighters and their new 75-foot bucket truck to hang a giant American flag in front of Home Depot on Transit Road on Saturday. The flag was draped between two trucks to mark Fire Prevention Week. Home Depot provided the new rope so the two trucks could fly the flag.

Terry’s Corners volunteers firefighters displayed their new rescue trailer and all-purpose, multi-track vehicle and rescue sled. This equipment is designed to make wilderness and winter rescues fast and efficient.
