Get your tickets for Barker High School’s upcoming musical. “The Pajama Game” plays from March 14 to 16 and is a reprise of a 1957 book called “Seven and a Half Cents.” Employees of the Sleeptite Pajama Factory are looking for a whopping seven-and-a-half cent an hour increase, and they won’t take no for an answer. Tickets are $5 for general seating and are available in the high school office.

The Winter Wonderland Project is having a Mid-Winter Blues Indoor Yard Sale at 71 Van Buren St., Lockport. Doors are open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 15. For $1 you’ll get a 13-gallon kitchen bag to fill with clothing. There’s lots of winter clothing and shoes, from baby to adult, and even plus sizes. Here’s a reminder for those Barker grads who might be eligible for annual scholarships from the Barker Alumni Association. An individual may be granted a scholarship four times. To begin the application process, a graduate must write a formal letter requesting an application and send it to the Alumni Association Scholarship Committee, P.O. Box 266, Barker, NY 14012 before April. This letter will become part of the application and should include information about the applicant and the reason for applying. Completed forms must be returned by May 1.  The Alumni Scholarship Committee will decide on the distribution of the awards by June 1. Those receiving grants must attend the Annual Alumni Banquet on June 14. The Alumni Association also offers scholarships to members of the senior class, who must apply through the BCS Guidance office. Senior applications will be made available in March.
