Pendleton summer rec program set

Lockport Union-Sun & Journal —

PENDLETON — The town's summer recreation program for children will be operated weekdays from July 8 through Aug. 15 this year.

The program will be held at the Starpoint Central School campus, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. Playground activities, arts and crafts and games will be offered.

Open registration for the program will be held from 9 a.m. to noon May 10 and May 24 at the town hall. The fee is $10 per child for Pendleton residents and $160 for non-residents. Forms will be available on the town website and at the town hall.

Up to four field trips are planned for program participants who reside in the town only, according to town councilman Ronald Morrison. Each registered child may attend two field trips on a first-come, first-served basis; the fee is $5 per child, per trip.

The town-wide garage sale is set for May 30 and May 31, with a rain date of June 6 and June 7.
