Barker Cub Scouts race through Pinewood Derby

Mail your registration and payment for Barker Lighthouse Optimist Soccer to Lighthouse Optimist Soccer, P.O. Box 145, Barker, NY 14012. Registrations must be postmarked by March 31 to avoid double fees.

Pet owners should plan ahead for the free rabies clinic to be held at the Somerset highway garage on Haight Road from 2 to 4 p.m. April 12.

Prize donations are being accepted for a May 1 benefit for Barker second-grader Skyla Dennis, who has been diagnosed with acute myeoblastic leukemia. Flyers are posted around town and I will keep you updated with details of the event, to be held at the Hartland Fire Hall. If you can help, call Julie Socie at 863-2081 or Jen Quegliano at 438-6569.

Orders are being taken for the 2014 Barker Central School Latrator yearbook. Order forms can be found on the Latrator page of the BCS website or online at jostensyearbooks.com. Orders must be in by May 9. Please contact Emma Dewart at edewart@barkercsd.net with any questions.
