Support Our Schools’s own Bobby Hartz gave the keynote speech at this week’s National Honor Society induction. He told the students to “never stop learning,” “take that knowledge and combine it with your experiences to build wisdom “ and “see things from other people’s perspectives.”

Congratulations to basketball players Allie Bubar, Emily Lasher and Dana Smith, for being named to 1st team All Area Niagara Gazette Girls team.

Congratulations to basketball player Kyle Bradley for being named to 1st team All Area Niagara Gazette Boys team.

High school students Caitlin Boyle, Jacob Graca and Nathan Keil were featured on “It’s Academic” last Saturday.

The 2014 Wilson Sports Booster Reverse Raffle will take place April 26, and it’s the largest Booster Club fundraiser. The event features cash grand prizes, gift baskets and a prize wheel of large items, along with food, drink, music and fun. People are being sought to help sell tickets, donate gifts, gift cards, gift basket items or cash. North Ridge United Methodist Church, corner of routes 93 and 425, will be hosting its Spring Basket Fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 26. The drawing will be at 2 p.m.and baked goods and chowder will be sold until 3 p.m. The chowder will be ready at 11 a.m. for take-outs; bring a container. For more information, call Karen Ward at 433-4105.
