Driver ticketed after collision

Lockport Union-Sun & Journal — PENDLETON — Two people were injured Friday evening in a car-motorcycle collision on Fisk Road.

According to the Niagara County Sheriff's Office, around 5:25 p.m. a westbound vehicle driven by Sharon Linforth, 73, of Lancaster, tried turning into a driveway on Fisk Road and turned in front of an eastbound motorcycle driven by Richard Vanorder, 65, of Lockport.

Vanorder was taken by Mercy Flight to Erie County Medical Center for treatment of arm and leg injuries. Linforth was taken by ambulance to Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital for evaluation, the sheriff's office said.

Linforth received a ticket for failure to yield the right of way.
