The entire Wilson Central School District participated in Red Ribbon Week. Red Ribbon Week focuses on drug prevention education and advocacy, and students participated in various activities at every school.

Former Wilson High School principal and current president of the Rural Schools Association, Dr. Bruce Fraser, has passed along information about a study being conducted by the Mid-Hudson School Study Council, and is asking for your input. This study is being conducted in an attempt to learn and understand more about high stakes testing. The council is seeking feedback from a variety of people and would like Upstate New York to be properly represented. According to the latest rankings released by Business First, Wilson Central School District is ranked as 37 out of 429 upstate districts in New York. Wilson is also in the top 25 percent for cost-effectiveness.
