Lockport Union-Sun & Journal — PENDLETON — The Niagara County health department and the Office for the Aging are sponsoring a free chronic disease self-management workshop series beginning Friday at the town hall, 6570 Campbell Boulevard.
The series is for county residents who have a chronic disease such as diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, chronic pain or arthritis.
Six sessions, all held from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Fridays, will instruct participants how to better manage symptoms, embrace an active lifestyle and feel better.

Groups and organizations can arrange a workshop through the health department.
