Bouquet orders being taken

Lockport Union-Sun & Journal — Bouquet orders being taken

Rotary Club of Lockport is selling long-stemmed red roses for Mother’s Day again this year.

The sale is a longstanding tradition in the Lockport community and it raises several thousand dollars each year. The money helps fund Rotary high school scholarships and community projects such as renovation of Community Pool.

A dozen roses cost $20. Orders will be taken through May 6. Bouquets will be available for pickup May 9, the Friday before Mother’s Day. Headquarters for pickup is K.S. Roth Insurance Co., 5983 S. Transit Road. Many Rotarians take care of delivery of roses that they sell.

For more information, call project chairman Kevin Roth at 713-5647.
