NEWFANE STROLL: From computer help to book sales, a lot is happening at Newfane library

• You only have until Oct. 22 to apply for a spot in the Annual Candy Cane Lane Craft show at the Newfane United Methodist Church, which will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Dec. 7. Applications can be obtained by calling Pat at 778-7705. Spaces are limited, so register early. The Newfane Holiday Light Up takes place from 5 to 8 p.m. that evening, including a parade with Santa being brought in on a horse-drawn wagon, free cookies and hot chocolate, shops open until 8 p.m. and more.

Have a warm and wonderful week and enjoy the magnificent fall foliage and produce that is such a blessing here in Western New York.
