It’s time for a Turkey Party. The Wrights Corners Fire Company will hold its annual event at 7 p.m. Nov. 1 at the fire hall, 4043 Lake Ave. Refreshments will be served, and the event benefits the Exempts.

The Wrights Corners Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary will hold its annual chicken and biscuits dinner from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Election Day at the fire hall. Cost is $8 for adults; $6 for seniors or kids ages 5 to 12; free for children under 5. Take-outs are available.

The Newfane United Methodist Church will host an Election Day Chicken and Biscuit Dinner Nov. 5 at the church, 2699 Main St. Serving begins at 4:30 p.m. The dinner will include chicken and biscuits, squash, apple salad, cranberries and homemade pies. The church is handicapped accessible and take-outs are available. Call 778-7011 for more information. Cost is $8.50 for adults; $4 for children.
