— City of Lockport

HARASSMENT: Matthew J. Brown, 30, 79 Grove Ave., upper apartment, was charged with second-degree harassment Tuesday at police headquarters. Brown is accused of slapping a woman’s face and causing her to fall to the ground Aug. 7, according to the police report. Brown was held in policy custody pending arraignment today in City Court.

HARASSMENT: Anthony J. Allee, 20, 220 East Ave., apartment 2, was charged with second-degree harassment, disorderly conduct and endangering the welfare of a child Tuesday morning. Allee is accused of haranguing a female relative in front of three children ages 5 to 7, because the relative wouldn’t drive him to work in Buffalo, the police report said; Allee followed the relative outside the apartment house and continued yelling at her, loudly enough that neighbors and passing traffic slowed over the commotion, the report said. Allee was held in police custody pending arraignment today in City Court.

THEFT: Paul E. Griffin, 64, 7379 Rochester Road, was charged with theft of services about 2:15 a.m. Tuesday at his home. Griffin is accused of refusing to pay $14 fare to a cab driver, according to the sheriff’s report. Griffin got a ticket and is to appear Aug. 30 in Town Court.

LARCENY: A resident in the 6900 block of Northview Drive reported the title to her 2005 GMC Envoy was taken from a storage drawer sometime between Aug. 4 and Aug. 15. The resident gave a sheriff’s deputy the names of several family members who might have taken the document; police investigation is continuing, the report said.


MISCHIEF: A homeowner in the 8800 block of Ridge Road reported several acts of vandalism were committed at the house overnight Aug. 14-15.  According to the sheriff’s report, the owner found bleach was poured onto a pile of clothing and laundry detergent was poured onto the basement floor, two tires on his parked vehicle were slashed and a bicycle was chucked down a hill at the back door of the house. The report lists a damage estimate of $945.
