Lockport Union-Sun & Journal — Cambria man to be screened for diversion
A Cambria man will be screened for Niagara County Court’s judicial diversion drug treatment program.
Kevin L. Stockburger, 52, of Shawnee Road, was offered a plea that would have him plead guilty to second-degree criminal possession of marijuana, a class E nonviolent felony. Stockburger will return to court June 14.
In September, Niagara County Sheriff’s deputies reportedly found marijuana and a handgun in Stockburger’s home.
In another case before Farkas, Kelly P. Chellino, 44, of Park Avenue, Waterport, agreed to a plea deal that had him admit to driving while intoxicated last fall in the city of Lockport.
Chellino admitted to a class E felony, but Farkas agreed to a sentencing cap of one year. Chellino will be sentenced Sept. 19 so the court can be updated on his progress in treatment.
In 2005 Chellino was convicted of a DWI in Lewiston.
