• ENDANGERMENT: Kelly Marie Stachowiak, 31, 290 Oakwood Road, Williamsville, was charged Wednesday with endangering the welfare of a child. Deputies on bike patrol in the Cayuga Village Mobile Home Community reportedly noticed a car parked in front of a C Street home, unlocked with the engine running, with a child sleeping the back seat. Five minutes later, Stachowiak reportedly came out of the home and walked toward the car. Deputies interviewed her, and she reportedly said she had parked there “only for a few minutes.” Stachowiak allegedly said her child had fallen asleep, and she did not want to wake him up. She was released on an appearance ticket for Niagara Town Court.
