City of Lockport
• HARASSMENT: Amy L. Bower, 36 North Adams St., was charged Friday with second-degree harassment. Police responded to a resident’s complaint that a woman was pounding on the doors of her apartment and woke up her kids with the noise. The victim confronted the suspect, and Bower then spit on the victim and called her inappropriate names, according to the report. The suspect reportedly left the scene before police arrived, but the victim identified Bower in a photo array and requested a “stay away order” against her, according to the report.
• INVESTIGATION: On Friday, a Remick Parkway woman reported to police that someone took her son’s Mongoose bicycle from the front porch of her residence. The bike, valued at $90, is green with silver pegs on the front and rear axle.
Town of Lockport
• LARCENY: An Irving Street man told Niagara County sheriff’s deputies Friday that he noticed his wallet missing after he went out to dinner. He checked his credit card usage on line and saw a charge of $139, the report said. An investigation is under way.
Gasport
• HARASSMENT: Steven Skorik of Gasport was charged Friday with second-degree harassment and third-degree menacing. A Wilson man called the sheriff’s office to report that he received a phone call from Skorik saying: “I’m going to kill you if you ever call this number again.”
• BURGLARY: A Quaker Road, Gasport, woman told deputies someone tried to gain entry to her house by pulling the lock off her garage door. Nothing was reportedly missing.
