Rings, pistol stolen from Wilson home

Lockport Union-Sun & Journal — The Niagara County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a burglary in Wilson in which six rings and a hand gun were stolen from a residence.

Deputies were summoned to a Maple Road residence on Friday, where the homeowner reported the thefts.

According to the report, one white gold wedding band with small diamonds and a white gold wedding ring was taken from a jewelry box that was in her living room.

She also said that a high school class ring and another gold oval sapphire ring with diamonds is also missing. In addition an Air Force gold ring was reported stolen. All three were taken from her bedroom.

The sixth ring was not described in the police report.

The estimated value of the six rings is $6,200, and the value of the circa-1920 silver pistol is $500.
