THEFT: A Bacon Street woman reported to city police an unknown person had taken her cell phone, Google Nexus tablet computer and case from her unlocked vehicle. The value of the stolen items totaled $380, police said.
LARCENY: Lockport Police said two shovels, valued at $40 total, were taken from the yard of a Spalding Street woman. A report was filed.
SUSPENDED: Tyrone B. Bruce, 30, 70 Harvey Ave., Apt. 3, was charged Saturday with driving with a suspended registration.
DWI: Liane M. Cain, 33, 74 Gabriel Drive, Apt. A, was charged Tuesday with driving while intoxicated, having an alcoholic beverage in the vehicle while driving, failing to signal when turning and a traffic infraction. Cain is due today in city court.
HARASSMENT: Clayton Herring, 31, 17 Works Place, was charged with second-degree harassment Sunday. Return date is 9 a.m. Wednesday under judge William Watson.
DWI: Darwin Fifield, 35, 131 Church St. upper, was charged with driving while intoxicated Monday. Return date is 9 a.m. Feb. 24 under judge William Watson.
HARASSMENT: Richard Butcher, 48, 128 Ontario St. apt. 2, was charged with second degree harassment Sunday. Return date is 9 a.m. Wednesday under judge William Watson.
UNLICENSED: Daniel Irons, 32, 497 Hawley St., was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle Sunday. Return date is 9 a.m. Feb. 26 under judge William Watson.
Town of Lockport
HARASSMENT: A Chestnut Ridge Road man reported that a car salesman at an auto sales business in Medina posted a threatening message about him on Facebook after the man went to the dealership to look at a car that had already been sold on Monday. The salesman also made the threat over the phone when the man called to speak with a manager about the post. The Niagara County Sheriff’s Office said that deputies helped the man complete a harassment complaint and told him to file it with Town of Lockport Court.
LARCENY: An Old Saunders Settlement Road man reported the theft of scrap metal and firewood from open trailers on his property some time between 5 p.m. last Thursday and 10 p.m. Monday. Sheriff’s deputies said that they checked with a local scrapyard, who didn’t receive the metal. Deputies said they would check with other scrapyards in the area.
DWI: Jasmine C. Mitchell, 21, 30 Foxberry Drive, Getzville, was charged with driving while intoxicated early Sunday morning. The Niagara County Sheriff’s Office said Mitchell was taken to Niagara County Jail on $250 bail and is scheduled to appear in Town of Lockport Court today.
DWI: Jaclyn N. Gesicki, 28, Lockport, was charged with driving while intoxicated, failure to keep right and refusal to take a breath test last Wednesday in the City of Buffalo. According to New York State Police, Gesicki was given a court appearance ticket.
LARCENY: A Lincoln Avenue business reported that a wood chipper had possibly been stolen by a customer. The Niagara County Sheriff’s Office contacted the customer and left a voicemail to contact the sheriff’s office.
HARASSMENT: A Stone Road woman reported that she was receiving unwanted text messages from a Young Street woman in Wilson. According to the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office, deputies told the Young Street woman to stop sending the Stone Road woman text messages.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT: A Scranton, Pa. man was charged with disorderly conduct Monday after sheriff deputies responded to a call that he was screaming and yelling in the hallway of an apartment complex on Lincoln Place just after 3 a.m. Matthew W. Neal, 30, of Ash Street, Scranton, Pa., was also charged with possession of marijuana. Deputies said that Neal also became disruptive after being placed in the sheriff’s car, and began banging his head on a glass partition in the car. Deputies used pepper spray to calm Neal, who continued to bang his head and threaten deputies during the ride to the Niagara County Jail. The Niagara County Sheriff’s Office said Neal was taken to Niagara County Jail on $100 bail and is scheduled to appear in Town of Lockport Court today.
Town of Pendleton
DOMESTIC DISPUTE: William H. Bamberg, 69, North Tonawanda, was charged with second degree menacing on Sunday at about 3 p.m. According to the New York State Police, the incident is pending investigation.
Town of Somerset
LARCENY: Jacob Marks, 24, 3060 Allens Bridge Road, Albion, was charged with petit larceny on Saturday. The Niagara County Sheriff’s Office said Marks was given an appearance ticket and is due back at the Town of Somerset Court on March 20.
Town of Cambria
LOST OR STOLEN PROPERTY: A Northway Drive man reported Saturday that his wallet was lost sometime on Friday. The Niagara County Sheriff’s Office said that a report of the incident would be on file.
LARCENY: A Lockport-Junction Road resident reported that he was missing $400 from his coat pocket around midnight Monday. The Niagara County Sheriffs Department said that the investigation was on-going.
Town of Newfane
LARCENY: A Prospect Street woman reported that her video game system, a controller and two video games had been stolen by her ex-boyfriend. The Niagara County Sheriff’s Office spoke with the ex-boyfriend, who said he did not take the video game system. The sheriff’s office said that there were no other suspects.
DWI: Daniel K. Gilbert, 51, Middleport, was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated and aggravated DWI. New York State Police said Gilbert was given a court appearance ticket.
