Lockport Union-Sun & Journal — An arrest has been made in the armed robbery of a Noco gas station on South Transit Road in the Town of Lockport Sunday, the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday evening.

Todd M. Delavalle, 24, Town of Lockport, was arrested and charged with first-degree robbery, third degree-criminal possession of a weapon and petit larceny. Delavalle was arraigned in Town of Lockport Court where bail was set at $100,000 cash or $500,000 bond. Delavalle is scheduled to return to court at 9 a.m. Thursday.

A raid was conducted earlier Tuesday by the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Marshals Service on Robinson Place in the City of Lockport in relation to the robberies, but it’s unclear if Delavalle was picked up in the raid.

The investigation, a joint operation between the Sheriff’s Office and the New York State Police, is ongoing according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Three robberies occurred in an eight hour span Sunday, with a fourth taking place Monday night on Robinson Road, the Sheriff’s Office said earlier Tuesday. Along with the Noco robbery, the Crosby’s at 7953 Rochester Road in Gasport was robbed around 6:30 p.m., and a Sunoco on the corner of South Transit and Robinson roads was robbed just before 11 p.m. A “person to person” robbery took place some time Monday night on Robinson Road, the Sheriff’s Office said.
