Three people were rushed to the hospital early Tuesday morning after a vehicle driven by a 14-year-old struck a tree in front of 120 Roby St.
Lockport Police reports say that an investigation revealed that the car had been stolen from a South Transit Street location earlier in the morning.
The driver was taken to ECMC with serious leg injuries. A front passenger, also aged 14, was taken to Women & Children's Hospital of Buffalo with leg injuries. They were trapped in the seat area before being extricated by Lockport Fire Department and Wrights Corners fire company. A male, 25, who was a back seat passenger was transported to ECMC's intensive care unit with serious facial injuries.
The driver had been driving northbound on Roby Street at a high rate of speed when the car went off the right side of the roadway, striking a tree.
Lockport police are continuing the investigation.
