Police seek clues to NOCO robber's identity

Lockport Union-Sun & Journal — New York State Police are looking for the public's help to identify the person who robbed a NOCO Express in Wheatfield in late December.

On Monday, the agency released two images lifted from a surveillance camera at the convenience store, 6724 Williams Road. At 10:39 p.m. Dec. 29, the male suspect entered the store, displayed a box cutter and demanded money from the clerk, police said.

The suspect appears to be between 5-feet-10-inches and 6 feet tall with a heavy build. In the surveillance footage he's wearing a black jacket, a gray hooded and zippered sweatshirt with pockets, gray sweatpants and black gloves.

Anyone who has information about the incident is asked to call State Police at the Lockport barracks, 434-1245.

The robbery is one in a series that occurred between Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve in Niagara County. State Police, the Niagara County Sheriff's Office and Lockport Police Department are investigating.
