Lockport Union-Sun & Journal — Assault on Elmwood leads to charges

An Elmwood Avenue man faces several charges, including attempted assault, relating to a domestic incident at 2 a.m. Thursday.

Quentin L. Baker II, 25, 85 Elmwood Ave. Apt. 1 was charged with third-degree attempted assault, third-degree menacing, resisting arrest, obstructing governmental administration and criminal obstruction. All of the charges are misdemeanors.

According to the report, when the victim came home at 1:30 a.m. she found her boyfriend in the bathroom with two other people. An argument ensued during which Baker began to insult the victim and then started to slap her. The victim slipped over a suitcase and fell.

Baker allegedly head-butted the victim and pulled her into the bathroom. He then began to choke her, but the victim was able to break away and called 911.

Baker became combative with police and was subdued with a taser.

The victim requested an order of protection.
