NO LICENSE: Michael P. Hagen, 25, 424 Washburn St., Apt. 1, was charged Tuesday with third-degree unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, driving with a suspended registration and without a valid inspection.  

UNLICENSED: Aaron C. Clark, 45, 131 Allen St., Apt. 2, was charged Tuesday with second-degree unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

POSSESSION: Jason A. D’Angelo, 43, 302 Caledonia St., was charged Tuesday with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. 

NO LICENSE: John C. Mcardle, 30, 6735 Tonawanda Creek Road, was charged Tuesday with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and two counts of an equipment violation.

CONTEMPT: David J. Heim, 40, 7185 Rochester Road, was charged Wednesday with second-degree criminal contempt.

Town of Lockport

LARCENY: The owner of an establishment on South Transit Road reported that someone stole his wallet containing his driving license some time on March 14, the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office said. The man believes the theft occurred while the video system was undergoing maintenance. 

Town of Royalton

LARCENY: A Root Road woman had her the license plate on her car stolen some time between 6 p.m. Monday and 5:55 a.m. Tuesday, the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office said. The woman told police that the plate holder was broken and laying on the ground, and that there was a used cigarette several feet away from the car. The cigarette was taken to the Sheriff’s Office forensic laboratory to check for clues. The case was closed pending new information, the Sheriff’s Office said. 

Town of Cambria

LARCENY: The son of a North Ridge Road woman discovered that several items out of her purse and the house were missing when he stopped by Tuesday morning just before 6 a.m., the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office said. When the son asked his mother what could have happened to her wallet, she said she allowed three “salesman” into the house Monday night between 7 and 8 p.m., and that they were asking about the woman’s family tree. The three men, all caucasian adults, were left alone in the room with the purse and a change jar while the woman used the bathroom. The woman said that the three men left shortly after she returned from the bathroom. The investigation is ongoing, the Sheriff’s Office said.
