NO LICENSE: Amanda R. Compeau, 23, 91 Fox Circle, was charged Friday with third-degree unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and a traffic violation. She is due Monday in Lockport City Court.

DWI: Darrin L. Snell, 24, 6263 Autumnview Station, Newfane, was charged Thursday with driving while intoxicated and two traffic infractions. He is due Monday in Lockport City Court.

LARCENY: Adam D. Braunscheidel, 23, Lockport, was charged with petit larceny and issued an appearance ticket, the New York State Police said. 

TRESPASS: A Fisk Road woman said that an unknown woman walked into her house around 1 a.m. Friday and asked where her “Uncle Danny” was, the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office said. The woman asked the unknown woman to leave her house, and told her that there wasn’t an “Uncle Danny” in the house. The unknown woman left in a white car, the Sheriff’s Office said. A deputy from the Sheriff’s Office also found footprints in the snow along the fence in the woman’s backyard. A search of the area failed to turn up anything, the Sheriff’s Office said.

FRAUD: A Cleveland Avenue woman reported that someone used her social security number to file taxes illicitly, the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office said. The Internal Revenue Service directed the woman to make a police report with her local police agency, the Sheriff’s Office said.
