MARIJUANA: Joel T. Ranney, 17, 39 Spruce St., was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana March 21. Ranney is due Tuesday in Lockport City Court.

LARCENY: A Main Street, Newfane, woman reported to Lockport Police on March 21 that someone took two refuse carts from her rental property on Chestnut Street. The carts, each valued at $60, are the official trash and recycling totes assigned to property by the city.

LARCENY: Kortney E. Weiler, 20, 15 Blackley Court, was charged with petit larceny March 21. Weiler was scheduled to appear in Lockport City Court this week.

DWI: Walter S. Thompson, 45, 38 West High St., was charged with driving while intoxicated, having an alcoholic beverage in a vehicle, operating without an interlock device, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, second-degree criminal impersonation and speeding March 21. Thompson is set to appear in City Court this week.

DWI: Douglas S. Vosburgh, 24, 6642 Swigert Road, Appleton, was charged with driving while intoxicated and an equipment violation today. Vosburgh is to appear this week in City Court.

HARASSMENT: Stephen J. Hammond, 26, 347 Prospect St., was charged with second-degree harassment March 23. He appeared today in City Court.

DWI: Cody A. Barber, 20, 7646 Charlemont Drive, Manlius, was charged with driving while intoxicated and unlawful possession of marijuana March 22. Barber is set to appear this week in City Court.

NO LICENSE: Brianna L. Frain, 18, 345 Applewood Drive, was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, speeding and driving without a valid inspection March 22. Frain is due this week in City Court.

Newfane

MARIJUANA: Chandler Knight, 18, of Newfane, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana March 23 after a traffic stop by New York State Police on Ewings Road. Knight was given a speeding ticket and an appearance ticket for Newfane Town Court.

POSSESSION: Henry Connor, 20, of Newfane, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana March 23 after a traffic stop by New York State Police. Connor was given an appearance ticket for Newfane Town Court.
