LARCENY: David J. Buckeye, 26, 107 Genesee St., Apt. 2, was charged Tuesday with petit larceny. Buckeye was arrested and taken to police headquarters.

ACCIDENT: One person was injured in a two-car accident on Lincoln Avenue around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, the New York State Police said. 

ASSAULT: A deputy from the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office responded to an assault at the Niagara County Jail around 5 p.m. Monday, the Sheriff’s Office said. Two inmates fought after an inmate on the phone attacked another inmate for being too loud near him. The inmate who was attacked declined to press charges at first, but decided to later in the evening, the Sheriff’s Office said.

HARASSMENT: Stacey W. Smith, 57, was charged with second-degree harassment Tuesday around 11:30 a.m., the New York State Police said. She was issued an appearance ticket, Police said.
