Lockport Union-Sun & Journal — HARASSMENT: Nathan A. Thurlow, 22, 7735 Tackabury Road, Earlville, was charged with second-degree harassment April 5. Thurlow was held at Niagara County Jail in lieu of $100 bail ahead of a Thursday appearance in Royalton Town Court.

MISCHIEF: An attempted burglary in the 3300 block of Checkered Tavern Road was reported to the sheriff’s office April 5. A man who’s purchasing the house observed damage to a dead bolt lock on the front door and the doors on an attached garage, all since April 3. The house was burglarized previously and will be the subject of period checks by road patrol, according to the sheriff’s office.

POSSESSION: Lucas R. Coleman, 18, 6809 Erica Lane, and Steven F. Mangold, 19, 4870 Upper Mountain Road, were charged with unlawful possession of alcohol by a person under 21, and Coleman was additionally charged with criminal mischief and a registration plate violation April 5, after an incident in the 4200 block of Upper Mountain Road. Both men received tickets to appear in Cambria Town Court on Tuesday.
