Lockport Union-Sun & Journal — City of Lockport

POSSESSION: Sterling D. Styres, 20, 9241 Lake Road, Barker, was charged Wednesday with third-, fourth- and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana. Styres was held for court.

NO LICENSE: Wade H. Eggert, 41, 239 Vine St., was charged Wednesday with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Eggert appeared Wednesday in Lockport City Court.

SPEEDING: Jessica J. Feeney, 21, 2608 Hess Road, Appleton, was charged Tuesday with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and speeding. She appeared Wednesday in Lockport City Court.

MENACING: Whittney S. Davis, 23, Lockport, was charged with second-degree menacing around 10:40 a.m. Tuesday, the New York State Police said. 

Gasport

BURGLARY: A Ridge Road business owner drove by his restaurant and noticed something was wrong around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office said. The man noticed drapes hanging out of the window and stopped to check on the business. The front door was unlocked, and an air conditioner unit had been pushed out of a window. The man said that $70 was missing from the cash register and a chocolate pie was missing, the Sheriff’s Office said. The pie was found in front of the restaurant. The Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
