Lockport Union-Sun & Journal —
GRAND LARCENY: The owner of Salon Nouveau on Sawyer Road reported sometime between Saturday and Tuesday, an unknown person entered the salon and stole $1,300 from a cash box.
CHARGED: Nikolaus S. Pierce, 24, 4453 Main St. was charged with disorderly conduct, public lewdness and resisting arrest Tuesday. The sheriff's patrol responded to the Gasport Fire Company for a report of a fight. The person causing the disturbance had already been removed. According to the report, Pierce was highly intoxicated and walking on Prospect street by Church, yelling and screaming. He was told to quiet down and head to his home but continued yelling while in the driveway. Pierce pulled down his shorts and underwear, exposing his private parts of his body, the report said. While in custody, Pierce tried to pull away from patrol and caused both he and the deputy to fall to the ground landing in the snow pile by the sidewalk. While sitting in the back seat of the patrol car, Pierce started kicking the driver's side rear door and banging his head on the window and plexiglass divider. The deputy dispersed one quick burst of department-issued pepper spray to stop Pierce's actions, but it had no effect. While en route to the jail, Pierce continued to threaten patrol verbally and with physical violence. He was taken directly to the jail and remanded on $500 cash bail.
