Arrest made in Barker in Fentanyl overdose

Lockport Union-Sun & Journal — A 23-year-old man who needed emergency care due to a drug overdose on April 25 on Lock Street, was arrested at his new address at Lake Breeze Mobile Home Park in Barker on Wednesday.

Nicholas A. Moyer, 23, Lake Road, Apt. 23, Barker was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.

On April 25, the Lockport Police responded to an unresponsive man at 129 Lock St. Moyer was found lying on the bedroom floor wheezing. He was breathing, but not responding. Moyer was taken to Eastern Niagara Hospital- Lockport for treatment and an arrest package was filed.

Judy Huntshamer, April Mosier and Kayla Miracle were also found in the apartment. They were charged and arrested. According to the report, they were shooting up a Fentanyl patch. Fentanyl is a potent, synthetic narcotic analgesic used for pain relief. 

Hypodermic needles were found in the apartment.
