City of Lockport

UNLICENSED: Andrea M. Connearney, 24, 138 Cottage St., Apt. 2, was charged with being an unlicensed driver, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, expired inspection sticker and operating a motor vehicle without insurance around 4:45 p.m. Monday, Lockport Police said. She is due in city court today.

HARASSMENT: An Evergreen Drive woman reported that her daughter was receiving unwanted messages on her cellphone from an unknown person between June 9 and June 13, the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office said. The unknown person was attempting to get the woman’s daughter to send pictures of herself. The unknown person said that they would reveal who they were once the girl sent a picture. When the girl said that she wasn’t going to send a picture, the unknown person said that they would photoshop her face onto the nude body of someone else. The girl told the messenger that she didn’t know who they were, and the sender said they were in a grade above her in school. The girl blocked the sender, and saved all of the messages sent to her.

LARCENY: A Daniels Road man reported that the tailgate to his pickup truck was stolen sometime between 9 p.m. Sunday and 11:30 a.m. Monday, the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office said. The truck is a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck, and the tailgate is valued at $1,500, the Sheriff’s Office said. The Criminal Investigation Bureau was notified for possible investigation. 

ENDANGERMENT: Mary L. Wagner, 26, 461 Young St., was charged with endangering the welfare of a child just before 10 a.m. Monday, the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office said. Wagner was issued an appearance ticket and is due in Town of Wilson Court on June 24. Child Protective Services was also notified, the Sheriff’s Office said.
