LARCENY: A town of Lockport resident reported that someone entered her vehicle while she was shopping at the Save-A-Lot on South Transit Road and stole a small wallet containing her Social Security card around 9:40 a.m. Saturday. The woman told the sheriff's office that she left her car unlocked while she ran into the store for a few minutes. The responding deputy advised the woman to contact the Social Security Administration as soon as possible.

GRAND LARCENY: A man reported that his 1998 Chevrolet pickup truck was stolen from his driveway in the 4600 block of Saunders Settlement Road early Saturday morning. The man told the sheriff's office that the keys were not in the vehicle at the time and he believed the vehicle was in the City of Niagara Falls. On Tuesday around 12:35 p.m., the responding deputy noticed that the truck had been returned to the address on Saunders Settlement Road but that the Sheriff's Office had not been notified. The man said that a "crackhead" from Niagara Falls had called him and told him that the truck would be "on 19th Street with the keys in it." The man retrieved the vehicle and did not realize he was supposed to notify the Sheriff's Office that he had recovered the truck. The truck was removed from the computer system, the Sheriff's Office said.
