BAD CHECK: Leon Tennyson, 72 Webb St., Apt. 3, was charged with issuing a bad check around 11:10 a.m. Thursday, Lockport Police said. Tennyson was released on his own recognizance and is due in city court on Monday.

UNLICENSED: Jonathan Bennett Jr., 25, 104 Evans St., was charged with third-degree unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and suspended registration around 9:20 a.m. Thursday, Lockport Police said. Bennett was held on $100 police bail and is due in city court on June 23.

HARASSMENT: Francis Laspada Sr., 59, 5622 Bowmiller Road, was charged with second-degree harassment around 9 a.m. Thursday for an incident on May 31, Lockport Police said. He was due in city court Thursday.

MARIJUANA: John A. Rudes, 18, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana on April 27, the New York State Police said. He was issued an appearance ticket.

UNLICENSED: Timothy J. Smider, 31, 191 Miller St., Tonawnada, was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle around 12:40 p.m. Thursday, the Niagara County Sheriff's Office said. He is due in Lockport Town Court on July 15.

LARCENY: A woman living on B Street in Dorwood Trailer Park reported $200 missing from her bedroom around 10:20 p.m. Tuesday, the Niagara County Sheriff's Office said. The money was in a jewelry box on the woman's dresser. The woman said nothing else appeared to be out of place in the residence, and she doesn't think anyone else knows that she keeps money there. The woman said that she last saw the money on Monday, and that she would continue to search the residence for the money, the Sheriff's Office said. She was unable to provide any possible suspects.
