HARASSMENT: Jared A. Person, 19, 101 Monroe St., was charged with offering a false instrument, second-degree harassment and third-degree menacing at about 10:45 p.m. Thursday, Lockport Police said. Person is due in city court Monday.

GRAND LARCENY: A Wilson-Cambria Road woman reported that her purse was missing at about 11:45 a.m. Friday, the Niagara County Sheriff's Office said. The woman said she was shopping at the Dollar Tree on South Transit Road, and unloaded her cart into her car. She then went to another store, and noticed that she didn't have her purse. When she went back to her car, she was unable to find the purse, and it wasn't in the cart she used. The woman said she was unable to remember where she left her purse. The purse contained $100 cash, personal identification cards, credit cards, two digital cameras, personal hygiene items and a photo album of the woman's dogs. The woman was advised that a report would be on file, the Sheriff's Office said.
DWI: Phillip W. Barger Jr., 31, 7032 Wheeler Road, Lockport, was charged with felony and misdeameanor driving while intoxicated, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and driving on the shoulder of the road about 9:08 p.m. Wednesday, the Niagara County Sheriff's Office said. Barger was remanded to the Niagara County Jail in lieu of $750 bail and is due in Town of Newfane Court on Tuesday.
