Man charged with public lewdness

Lockport Union-Sun & Journal — A Lockport man was arrested Sunday evening after he allegedly exposed himself to a female neighbor.

Michael A. Stretch, 52, 1274 Norwood Drive, was charged with second-degree harassment and public lewdness, according to the Niagara County Sheriff's Office.

About 11:15 p.m. Sunday, a neighbor reported she was outside on her deck and saw Stretch through a bedroom window, masturbating in full view of her. It's an ongoing issue with Stretch, the neighbor claimed.

A sheriff's deputy went to Stretch's home, where Stretch reportedly was in the same room where the neighbor had seen him. When the neighbor positively identified Stretch as the man she'd seen, Stretch was charged and taken into custody, according to the sheriff's office.

Stretch was held at Niagara County Jail in lieu of $250 bail. He is due in Lockport Town Court on Thursday.
