UNLICENSED OPERATION: Justin Bond, 28, 3902 Lockport-Olcott Road, Olcott, was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle and suspended registration Monday. Bond was held in lieu of $100 bail.  Bond is due in City Court on May 5. 

ASSAULT: Holley Howard, 42, 315 Washburn St.,, was charged with third-degree assault Monday in connection with an April 16 incident. Howard is due in City Court on Wednesday.

HARASSMENT: Keith Shaffett, 41, 70 Harvey Ave., was charged with two counts of second-degree harassment Monday in connection with an April 6 incident. Shaffett was arraigned in City Court. 

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: Michael Sneed, 18, 73 High St., was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief Monday. Sneed was arraigned in City Court.

LARCENY: A Meadow Lane Drive man reported to the Niagara County Sheriff's Office that loose change and a Tim Horton's gift card were taken from his vehicle sometime between 10 p.m. Friday and 9:50 a.m. Saturday. 

FRAUD: A Chestnut Ridge Road woman reported that an unknown person withdrew $875 from her M&T Bank account April 11. The woman notified the bank and the money was returned, the sheriff's office said.

DRUG OFFENSE: Nicholas A. Doxey, 28, 7026 Northview Drive, was charged with possession of a hypodermic instrument while being taken into custody at Tops, South Transit Road, around 3:50 p.m. Saturday on a warrant for second-degree harassment. Doxey was taken to Niagara County Jail in lieu of $250 cash bail or $500 bond. He is due in Lockport Town Court on Thursday. 


MARIJUANA: Austin M. Sheldon, 18, 6258 Dale Road, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and not wearing a seatbelt after a 7:30 p.m. Sunday traffic stop in the 2900 block of Lockport-Olcott Road. Sheldon received tickets to appear May 6 in Newfane Town Court, according to the sheriff's office.


GRAND LARCENY: A resident in the 4500 block of Beach Ridge Road reported that his 2013 Subaru Legacy was stolen from his driveway sometime between 1 and 7:15 a.m. Sunday. The man told the sheriff's office that he left the vehicle unlocked and left the key in the car, which also held a variety of work tools. The case was forwarded to the Criminal Investigation Bureau. 


BURGLARY: A Lake Road man reported numerous items were taken from his vehicle and barn sometime between 10:30 p.m. Saturday and 8:15 a.m. Sunday. The missing items are a $7,000 ATV, an $853 generator, a $200 chainsaw and a $50 air gun. A possible footprint was discovered at the scene, and tracks in the grass point to the ATV and generator traveling west on Lake Road, the sheriff's office said.
