DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Paul D. Atkin Jr., 25, 479 Hawley St., was charged with disorderly conduct by Lockport police at approximately 10 a.m. Friday. He is slated to appear in City Court on Tuesday. 

CRIMINAL IMPERSONATION: Michael J. Smith, 21, no permanent address, was charged with criminal impersonation April 21. He was due in City Court on April 23.

Sanborn

GRAND LARCENY: The accountant for Eldan Inc., 6311 Inducon Corporate Drive East, reported to the sheriff’s office Friday that two checks for Eldan, totaling $20,475.78, were stolen some time between April 3 and April 9 after they were delivered to the business’ address. The checks appear to have been deposited in a non-Eldan bank account electronically, the accountant said. A similar crime was perpetrated against the business in February 2013, and was resolved, the accountant added. The case has been referred to the sheriff’s Criminal Investigation Bureau.

Amherst

POSSESSION: Michael J. Giazzon, 26, of Newfane, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana at 9:57 p.m. Friday on South Transit Road in Amherst. Giazzon received an appearance ticket from New York State Police.
