Lockport Union-Sun & Journal — A Nixon Place resident faces a drug possession charge after a Tuesday morning police raid on his home.
Sean R. Castanon, 33, 4 Nixon Place, is due in City Court today for arraignment on the charge of second-degree criminal possession of marijuana.
About 9:40 a.m. Tuesday, the Niagara County Drug Task Force and Lockport Police Department jointly executed a search warrant on Castanon’s residence. In the home, officers found and seized a “large quantity” of green leafy matter that field-tested positive as marijuana, according to Lockport police. Officers also turned up $7,402 cash and an SKS rifle in the residence, police said.
