Lockport Union-Sun & Journal — GASPORT — A Middleport man faces assault charges resulting from an incident at the Canalside Inn after midnight Saturday.
Marc Sepanski, 23, of Pearson Road was charged with two counts of third-degree assault and criminal obstruction of breathing. He appeared in Royalton Town Court earlier this week and has a return date for Monday.
The Niagara County Sheriff’s Office responded to a domestic call at 12:33 a.m. An anonymous caller reported there was a male and female fighting outside. There were two female victims total.
According to the sheriff’s office, Sepanski fled the scene and drove away. He crashed his vehicle at the Root Road Bridge and walked away. A warrant was issued.
Sepanski turned himself in at the Royalton Court on Saturday afternoon, claiming he left the scene because he was being pursued. Sepanski was charged and bailed out two days later.
An arrest report was not made available to the media citing a NCSO policy regarding domestic violence.
