CONTEMPT: Adam W. Taylor, 39, 6300 Corwin Station, Apt. 2, Newfane, was charged Tuesday with second-degree criminal contempt. He was scheduled to appear Wednesday in Lockport City Court.

NO LICENSE: Glenn H. Quintern, 55, 198 Lock St., Apt. rear, was charged Tuesday with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and circumventing an Interlock device. He was arrested without incident, police said.

DOMESTIC: Timothy M. Kush, 29, Lockport, was charged with second degree harassment around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, the New York State Police said. He was issued an appearance ticket.

LARCENY: An Applewood Drive woman reported that someone broke into her car and stole change sometime between 9 p.m. Tuesday and 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office said. The woman also found several scratches on her vehicle that weren’t there before the incident. The woman did not notice any suspicious activity around her vehicle, the Sheriff’s Office said. 

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: A Strauss Road woman reported that someone threw a rock through the windshield of her brother’s vehicle on her property sometime between 6 p.m. Tuesday and 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office said. The CD player in the vehicle had been removed and placed on the driver side seat, and the contents of the glovebox were strewn around the car. The woman did not think anything was missing, and said it could have been done by neighborhood children who cut through her lot, the Sheriff’s Office said.
