Lockport Union-Sun & Journal — A man was jailed Friday after he was accused of injuring his 5-month-old son.

Christopher T. Fuller Jr., 23, of Dysinger Road, is charged with first-degree assault and reckless assault of a child, both felonies, according to the Niagara County Sheriff's Office.

Sheriff's officials say the infant was shaken violently. On Friday, the infant was listed in critical condition at Buffalo Women & Children's Hospital.

Fuller was arraigned in Lockport Town Court, where Judge Leonard Tilney ordered him held in lieu of $25,000 cash bail.

Fuller is due to return to court Wednesday.
