Lockport Union-Sun & Journal — A Town of Lockport woman and two city teens have been accused of shoplifting from Walmart on South Transit Road.
Karen A. Kostyo, 36, 3960 Lockport Olcott Road was charged Saturday with petit larceny.
The Niagara County Sheriff's Office reported an employee told deputies Kostyo was seen going behind clothing racks and putting things in her purse. She was seen going to the women's restroom with a box of breast enhancers that she did not pay for, the employee reportedly said.
Kostyo left the restroom and threw out the empty box, the employee said. When she left the store, it seemed her purse and chest were both larger, the employee is reported as saying.
She was given an appearance ticket to report Thursday in Lockport Town Court.
Daniel A. McFadden, 18, 192 South St. and Anna B. Niles, 19, 80 Charlotte St., upper, were charged Sunday with sixth-degree conspiracy and petit larceny, respectively.
Sheriff's deputies reported Niles was seen taking merchandise from the store without paying, while McFadden was with her and knew what she was doing. Eight articles of women's clothing was taken, totaling $71.28.
Both were taken into custody and taken to Niagara County Jail on $500 bail. They are due Sept. 3 in Lockport Town Court.
