Lockport Union-Sun & Journal — A Lockport youth wanted in connection with the recent pistol-whipping of two adult males on High Street was arrested Monday in Niagara Falls.

Rakeem J. Hamilton, 16, 6559 Lincoln Ave., is charged with first- and second-degree robbery, first-degree assault and second-degree possession of a weapon.

Hamilton is accused in a robbery-assault reported to city police on Aug. 26. A High Street resident and two friends said they were held up at gunpoint by three black men. The suspects reportedly took cash and personal property, then pistol-whipped two of the victims, police said.

Hamilton had been the subject of a Lockport Police Department search since the incident. Two other suspects, Dominique Houser, 23, and Jerquan Morange, 23, were taken into custody Aug. 29 in Niagara Falls.
