Wroblewski hits for cycle in route over visiting Vikings.

LOCKPORT —

Brad Wroblewski hit for the cycle at Outwater Park on Wednesday as head coach Steve Styrzo's Lockport baseball Lions earned their first win of the 2013 Niagara Frontier League baseball season, 16-7, over visiting Grand Island at Outwater Park.
Wroblewski, a junior utility player, finished with a grand slam and 7 RBIs total for Lockport (1-1 NFL). LHS sophomore Tyler Goodridge added a two-run single. The Vikings dropped to 1-1 in the league.
Winning pitcher senior Casey Domski scattered four hits over five innings with eight strikeouts for the Lions. Lockport catcher Tyler Fraas, just a sophomore, played a strong defensive game, Styrzo said and added two hits offensively.
“We finally hit the ball and we hit the ball hard,” Styrzo said.
