Sobieraski hurls Lions past Jacks

Wroblewski, DiCarlo, VanDenBosch club clutch hits for LHS

(Continued)

LOCKPORT —

Tyler Fraass (1-for-2, 3 walks), David DiTullio (1-3, nice running catch at first) and Wroblewski (2-2) each scored two runs for the Lions, who benefitted from nine walks.
Southpaw Tyler Goodrich hurled the final two frames for LHS, fanning four. He also laid down a well-executed bunt in the first, which drew the throw to first, driving home the advantageous Double D at third.
Playing another unsung game behind the plate was steady senior Dan Bronson (hit by pitch, one run, stolen base), who also threw out a Jacks runner trying to steal third.
