Lockport earns plenty of all-NFL recognition
Dozens of Lockport High School athletes have earned postseason accolades from the Niagara Frontier League. Just a week after going further than any other volleyball team in LHS history, head coach Joe Whalen’s NFL and Section VI-champion Lions got the good news that seven players were named league all-stars.
N-O boys and girls soccer all-league teams announced
The Niagara-Orleans League all-league teams have been announced for both boys and girls soccer. Roy-Hart's Emma Lindke was one of the first-team selections, after a strong season that included 19 goals and nine assists.
LHS swimmer sets two records in stellar season
Lockport HS junior Elizabeth Connolly set one school record this season (200 freestyle), with a time that was good enough for a trip to the state meet as an individual. She also broke her own record (for 500 freestyle) that she set last year as a sophomore ... and then broke it again. Quite a season for the star Lady Lion.
