BREAKING: Man in standoff with police on 190
By WKBW NewsSeveral police agencies are at the scene of a tense standoff in the southbound lanes of the Niagara section of the New York State Thruway.A man is there with a handgun to his head near the Ontario Street exit.Hundreds of cars and trucks are now stuck on the highway as this unfolds, unable to exit the 190.This all began shortly after 6 o'clock.Hostage negotiators and SWAT team members are on the scene, trying to get the man to surrender peacefully.
