More than 200 cars are expected to be on display at the Miller Hose Fire Co.’s sixth annual Father’s Day Car Show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
“It’s a growing hobby,” said event chairman Ray Catanesi.
“Most of us guys follow the show car circuit all summer,” he said. “Folks like to go out and relax with their friends and their cars.”
Admission is free, and the firefighers offer shuttle parking from the Newfane Elementary School on McKee Street and Transit Road.
A breakfast by Tammy Jo’s Cafe is scheduled from 8 to 11 a.m. at the fire hall on McKee Street. There also is a chicken barbecue.
An engine blow contest is planned for 2:30 p.m.
Nancy J’s Rock and Roll Survival will provide entertainment.
Car registration is $10 in advance and $12 the day of the fundraiser for the fire company.
To register, call Catanesi at 799-4974 or register on line at www.millerhose.org.
