Lockport Union-Sun & Journal — An out-of-state visitor rolled her 2000 Honda over on Saunders Settlement Road in Cambria at about 12:40 p.m. Monday, according to the Niagara County Sheriff's Office.
Marcy K. Barnett, 44, of Kosciusko, Miss., was still in the vehicle when emergency personnel arrived and told deputies that she lost consciousness for an unknown reason, causing her to drive off of the road. Barnett was removed from the vehicle and treated at the scene by Cambria Volunteer Fire Company personnel and paramedics from Rural Metro Ambulance; she was then transported by Mercy Flight to Erie County Medical Center for a possible head injury.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the vehicle left the north side of the road, struck a driveway culvert and overturned before landing upright, the sheriff's office said. The investigation is ongoing.
