Lockport Union-Sun & Journal — Local parents will have a chance to speak with state Education Commissioner John King and other state education officials at a town hall meeting concerning the Common Core and state testing.
King is coming to Williamsville North High School, 1595 Hopkins Road for a 7 p.m. Oct. 24 meeting with Western New York parents and educators.
The meeting will be divided into three parts consisting of an introduction, questions from the audience and statements. Questions will be written on cards, then collected and read by moderators. Statements will be limited to two minutes.
The meeting is one of five town hall meetings being held this month all over the state.
